Is it safe? Will my number get restricted?
Your number connects through WhatsApp's own Linked Devices feature, the same one behind WhatsApp Web. Using it for genuine customer conversations falls within WhatsApp's normal terms. As with any WhatsApp usage, bulk unsolicited messaging is what puts numbers at risk.
Does my phone need to stay connected?
After the first pairing, your workspace keeps working even when your phone is offline, thanks to WhatsApp's multi-device support. Your phone just needs to come online from time to time to stay linked.
